At this present moment in time, the club runs two group coaching sessions on a Friday. The first session is Group 1, which is then followed by Group 2. Private Individual coaching is also provided by head coach Paul Johnson, and also assistant coach Kurt Hutson, both having various time slots available on different nights. All sessions are led by Head coach Paul Johnson, who is a UKCC level 2 coach, , and assisted by Kurt Hutson who is a UKCC level 1 coach. Both are fully licensed Table Tennis England coaches and are continuously attending CPD courses and keeping up to date with relevant DBS and child protection courses. Alongside our Thursday club night/practice sessions, you can have the opportunity to book a one on one coaching session with any of our coaching team for either 30 minutes or 1 hour slots. The club is currently running Satellite table tennis sessions at 4 different secondary schools in Doncaster and 2 in and around the Gainsborough area, and is also doing various curriculum time work within other local primary and secondary schools. We are committed as a club to provide better and easier pathways for young people to progress from school level to club level sport. In doing this we have created good relationships with local schools and other partnerships from around the area.

Paul has been coaching table tennis since 2008, when he first set up the club. Since then Paul has established himself as a well-respected coach, coaching the County squad, the Regional squad, and even attended the England Youth Development Squad. In 2013, Paul also became a professional sports coach, going into the local primary schools providing them with multi skills sessions to help increase participation and the skill set of the youngsters in the local area. Paul has got a full DBS check, emergency first aid & safeguarding & protecting children qualification, and is constantly undergoing professional development.
